Kou Tea Review

Caloric cycles, diet pills, cardio, gym membership, yoga; why in the world is losing weight so difficult? There are complicated explanations, but no answers that really get down to addressing the key problems.

The fact is, modern life seems tailor-made to keep us overweight and unhealthy. Fast food is cheap and easy to get, while healthy options are either expensive or take time to prepare. Seven dollars and five minutes can get you a drive through burger with fries and a drink. That same seven dollars might get you a bag of underwhelming salad, and doesn’t allow for prep time once you get it home.

People have to work long hours, and often have major family commitments that they have to attend to, so taking the time to get to the gym isn’t always easy. Diet pills exist in prescriptions, but they require expensive doctors’ visits and come with some scary heart side effects.

Why isn’t there a simpler way to increase your chance to lose weight, without huge risks and huge expense?

Of course, the answer is that there is indeed such a way. Kou Tea offers an alternative for those who just need that extra bit of an edge.

What is Kou Tea?

Kou Tea is a 4-ingredient tea blend using precepts from modern and traditional medicine
to help your body lose weight naturally.

It was designed and is sold by RDK global, the same company that introduced the popular Phen375 weight loss supplement, so it comes from a pedigree of weight loss specialists. This alone was enough to make us sit up and take notice. Anyone can put out weight loss materials, but products put out by those with a track record of popular products are worth our attention.

What are the Kou Tea Ingredients?

Kou Tea’s ingredients are in the same tradition as RDK’s other products, all natural with a focus on boosting the body’s natural processes rather than introducing overpowered chemicals with messy side effects.

Kou Tea is a blend of four different teas:

– Green Tea

This is one of the most popular ingredients in weight loss supplements. As a strong antioxidant, it helps the body fight off damaging free radical compounds. It also has a far green tea leaveslower oxidation process, meaning that these antioxidants are more effective than those found in other compounds.

Green tea has also been linked to processes that help the body reduce fat conversion when storing excess calories. There is strong indication that it has mild appetite-suppressant qualities as well, meaning that regular consumption can help you reduce the number of calories you take in on a given day. Since weight comes from the body storing excess calories, any way to reduce the number coming in is a definite plus.

– Oolong Tea

Oolong is a tea blend with a long tradition of use in herbal medicine. It has a compound Oolong teacalled polyphenol, which is the primary reason it is of interest as an ingredient in weight loss supplements. Polyphenol changes the way the body regulates the fat metabolism process, prompting the body to release more energy from stored fats.

Oolong is also very high in caffeine compared to other teas, giving you more mental energy and alertness. This can help you get the energy boost you need to complete daily tasks and still fit in a brief, calorie-burning workout.

These two factors combine to make a very compelling slimming and anti-weight gain ingredient.

– Pu-erh Tea

Pu-erh Tea is an interesting blend in that it is the main ingredient in Kou Tea that helps Pu-erh Teafight bad cholesterol build up. By reducing the levels of LDL, it improves your overall health and reduces the strain of weight on the body. In addition, it helps boost the metabolism and reduce stress. A major factor in weight gain is eating to reduce stress, so by relaxing our body this tea helps reduce the tendency to comfort eat, helping us control our calorie intake.

– White Tea

White tea also has anti-oxidant and weight loss properties, but the main benefit of its White teaincludsion in Kou Tea is that it tastes great. Ooolong and Green tea both have very potent tastes, and can be overwhelming for some first time drinkers. White Tea is much more mild and pleasant, making this tea tasty as well as effective. We can’t tell you the number of herbal teas out there that just taste ridiculously strong and require so much sweetener that the point of taking them goes out the window. A white tea based drink is much more enjoyable.

Does Kou Tea Work?

As ever, we must caution that nothing is a magic bullet. The hard truth is that when calories consumed exceed calories burned through exercise, weight is gained. Kou Tea doesn’t exempt people from this biological process.

However, here is how Kou Tea works:

1 – Metabolism booster

The natural ingredients in this tea help raise the body’s metabolism naturally. Your metabolic rate is the rate at which your body uses up energy when resting and doing nothing at all. This rate is increased by exercise and other activities. These four teas help boost this rate so that your body is using more energy, helping you lose that weight more effectively.

2 – Appetite reduction

Kou Tea has demonstrated appetite suppressing properties in a number of users. This means that when you drink it, you feel less hungry for a noticeable time afterwards. This makes you less likely to snack on unhealthy, high sugar and calorie foods. If you actively replace a daily snack or meal with Kou Tea, you gain the appetite suppressing benefits and the benefit of not taking in those calories, reducing your caloric intake for the day.

3 – Healthy Body Support

A healthy body makes you feel better, further reducing the desire to snack for comfort. The antioxidant and stress reducing properties of Kou Tea can help you feel more in control, with a healthier body and outlook. This makes it easier to relax, to exercise, and to make healthy choices for yoru body all around.

Kou Tea Pricing

This is where Kou Tea might raise some eyebrows. It is not a $5 for 20 packet product, unfortunately. A one month supply of Kou Tea will cost $34.95, making it noticeably more expensive on the whole.

The price does come down significantly in bulk, thankfully. Purchasing a 3 month supply will get you a 4th box for free, which drops the overall price to just over $26 per month. At this price, Kou is actually comparable to gourmet teas on the market, that aren’t formulated with weight loss properties in mind.

What are Kou Tea’s Side Effects?

For the most part, Kou Tea will not have any side effects other than those of a traditional blend of teas. It is, after all, tea, and people drink tea every day.

That said, there are some side effects that should be addressed.

First, there is always the possibility that you might be allergic to a particular tea. If you are allergic to any form of tea, talk to your doctor before starting to drink Kou Tea, as they can help determine if it will be safe for you.

Next is the caffeine content. Caffeine does have strong side effects of its own, including possible anxiety, sleeplessness, or digestive upset. If you react strongly to caffeine in other products, or are on a caffeine containing supplement already, speak to your doctor about starting a tea regimen.

Kou Tea Results:

Customer reviews have been strongly positive about using Kou Tea to supplement their attempts to live a healthy lifestyle. It isn’t a magic bullet that will melt the pounds off you with no other effort, but it can help you feel fuller, raise your metabolism, and help your body better process what you eat. Anyone who incorporates Kou Tea into their weight loss efforts should see an improvement in their results, judging by the customer testimonials.

  1. Wow , I cant believe that tea can help lose weight. My sister regularly drinks coffee for the “boost” and she is also trying to lose weight. Now I can refer her to this article so she can drink tea and use that for her boost and her weight loss. We already have teas with green tea and white tea at home so this really wouldn’t be that much of a change for our family. Thanks for the info!
